Metal Barn & Barn-style Buildings

Barn-style Structures

A Barn can be a Roof Only structure, often used for Agricultural Equipment and as Hay Barns, or fully enclosed. Our all-steel barn-style structures begin with a main central unit, and then lean-to structures are added to create additional bays. This makes for an extremely stable space with plenty of room for vehicles, workshops or live stock. Although a 14 gauge unit is perfectly fine for smaller animals such as sheep and goats, we recommend 12 gauge barns for larger animals and larger spaces.

How we Price our Barns

Any of our standard buildings, from 12’ and up to 40’ wide can be used as the central unit. The central unit is not priced with side walls, but often has connecting panels tying the roof of the main building to the lean-tos. The lean-tos are priced as a combined unit. For example, two 12’ wide lean-tos are priced as a single 24’ wide unit during pricing. Unless the lean-tos are added after the initial installation, there is no join fee for attaching them to the main building.

Open carports and shades are naturally ventilated so they are very popular in warm climates,. Fully enclosed carports give you the best protection at a great price. Barn-style shades or fully enclosed barns are available. Our prices include delivery and installation on standard installations where you have provided a level concrete slab foundation. You can also purchase our do-it-yourself carport kit with prefabricated components for quick and easy installation at a discounted price. Vertical roofs are recommended for buildings over 31 feet long for extra strength and to prevent leaks. We recommend the Santa Ana Upgrade for areas with high winds or in jurisdictions that require extra support for open-frame buildings. In Snow-prone areas, we recommend the Big Bear Snow Package which will give you extra legs, bows and bracing, and offers welded trusses on larger builidings. Structures over 22 feet wide with a Leg Height of over 12 feet tall may require heavier leg and frame reinforcement than smaller buildings. CHECK LOCAL CODES.
